JISR Institute Joined the Czech Business Mission to Estonia

On 26–28 May 2026, the Chairman of the Board of JISR Institute participated in a Czech business mission to Estonia, organized by the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic in connection with the state visit of the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel.

The mission focused primarily on the defence industry, cybersecurity, advanced technologies and the development of cooperation between Czech and Estonian partners. The programme also included the Estonia–Czechia Business Forum in Tallinn, which brought together companies, public institutions and industry organizations from both countries.

We appreciate the opportunity to be part of the Czech business delegation and to represent the maturity and capabilities of the Czech defence and technology industry in a country that is widely recognized for its digital society, cybersecurity expertise and defence innovation.

During the programme, cooperation opportunities within the Estonian cyber and defence ecosystem were presented. The presentation by the Estonian CyberTech Cluster and the Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications highlighted the strength of Estonia’s technology sector, its public-private cooperation model and capabilities in digital identity, secure data exchange, cyber resilience, detection and response, training and exercises.

Representatives of the Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association also introduced the priorities of the Estonian defence industry, including cyber defence, robotics and autonomous systems, sensors, communication and surveillance technologies, electronic warfare and C-UAS systems. These areas are closely aligned with JISR Institute’s long-term focus and capabilities.

Our participation in the mission provided an opportunity to establish new contacts, discuss future cooperation in the Baltic region and present Czech know-how in command and control, system integration, critical infrastructure protection, electronic warfare and related software solutions.

We would like to thank the organizers of the mission, our Estonian partners and all participants for a professional programme, open discussions and the opportunity to be part of this important platform for the development of Czech-Estonian cooperation.
